Adelaide Obesity Surgery and Ashford Surgery & Bariatric Clinic combine resources

Adelaide Obesity Surgery and Ashford Surgery & Bariatric Clinic, are pleased to announce a development by which both clinics will combine their resources to provide better patient care.

With a combined experience of over 25 years in Obesity & Bariatric Surgery, the shared expertise of the two principal surgeons (Dr Justin Bessell and Dr Paul Anderson) will ensure that patients have contemporaneous & ongoing care of the highest level.

As both clinics and surgeons have a similar approach to the medical and surgical management of Obesity, the closer relationship between both clinics will provide an overarching Centre of Excellence in the treatment of Obesity in South Australia.

Dr Bessell and Dr Anderson will be available for cross-cover at the Consultant level for both the clinics, and if necessary access is available to the Emergency Surgical Pathway at Flinders Medical Centre staffed by an experienced Bariatric team.
